I am so blessed to have a very supportive husband.By now most of you are very familier with him too and know how wonderful he is to me. I am so glad I found this site. I have made so many wonderful friends who support and encourage me each day.I couldn't do this without them. I will continue to blog every day and do a video every once in awhile.My blogs can be about anything. All depends on my mood that day. Sometimes they are really corny.But if you follow them you will get a good sense of who I am real quick. I also plan on being very active on this web site. I will be active on message boards and join teams that fit me.I don't want to join too many teams as it will spread me too thin and I want to be supportive to others. I am looking forward to many good days ahead and making new friends who understand the struggle to lose weight. Only those that have been thru it can truly understand the ups and downs. My Goals:
My main goal is to lose weight to take the load off my heart and all other body parts. One important goal is to lose enough weight to sit on floor and be able to get up by myself. And to cross my legs. And to beat my Food Demon and conquer my night time over eating
My Program:
Because of health problems exercise is limited to sitting exercises.I have several tapes that I try to use on a daily basis. I am weighting and counting every calorie I eat. I am trying to stay between 1500 to 1700 cal. Also staying away from restaurants and take out food.Therefore I am cooking more meals and always on lookout for tasty low calorie meals.

My name is Eleni and I live in Tarpon Springs Florida. I am 63 years old and disabled because of a bad heart.My husband and I have been married for 17 years after dating for 7.We both had teenagers and I wanted to wait.Between us we have 8 children and 11 grandchildren.I worked for 21 years as an operator in a power plant that makes electricity.I was one of only a few women to do this job.I retired 8 years ago and now there are no women doing what I did. I originally got my job because at the time companies were being forced to hire women. I was not welcomed in the power plant but I had 5 kids to feed as I was a single parent at the time. I had to prove myself daily for 21 years. I took an early retirement because of heart but did continue to work as a sercurity guard for another 3 years.Then heart got too bad for me to work anymore. I spend most of my time at home.
Other Information:
I enjoy reading anything except romance novels which I never read. I enjoy the computer and have been doing more and more on it.I am now on MySpace and Facebook. I also like TV and I crochet. I am also a pen and ink artist and amatuer photograher. Altho I haven't been doing much art lately and most pictures are taken from my back room of animals that wander in.. I also was a member of TOPS for many years and spent several years as leader. Am very happy with the new friends I am making on Spark and their support is helping me so much. Hopefully I will be able to help them also . Joining Spark has been one of my smartest moves.
